L'AGRIATE

The Agriate is still sometimes incorrectly called "desert Agriate" while the etymology of the name conjures up agricultural land, conducive to the cultivation of cereals and olives. Contrary to the image that is a desert, vegetation Agriate adapted to local climatic conditions, is composed of traditional species of the maquis (arbutus, heather, myrtle, cistus, mastic trees, oaks, olive trees ...) and maritime pine plantations reminiscent of the mid-twentieth century.
